Dr Stewart Johnson
Dr. Stewart Johnson, Principal of the Pharmaceutical
Consultancy, Safetymednet, is immediate past Chief
Medical Officer, Ingenix Pharmaceutical Services. Dr.
Johnson, who has qualifications in Medicine, Physiology
and Pharmacology, was formerly Medical Director of
Scherer DDS, prior to which he was Medical Director and
Senior Vice-President, Clinical Research and Development
at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. Earlier he held
UK medical directorships at Synthélabo and Wyeth and
university appointments in Edinburgh and King’s College,
London. He is Reader Emeritus in Pharmacology at the
University of London.
Professor Paul Harrison
Professor Paul Harrison, Department of Psychiatry,
University of Oxford, is a world-renowned expert in
molecular neuropathology. He is a Clinical Reader in
Psychiatry and a governing body fellow of Wolfson
College, Oxford. Professor Harrison’s research interests
are centred on the molecular neurobiology of psychiatric
disorders. Professor Harrison has published more than
140 peer-reviewed research articles and reviews and is
an advisor to several pharmaceutical companies. He is
frequently invited to present at international
scientific conferences.
Professor David Collier
Professor David Collier is Head of Molecular Genetics,
Institute of Psychiatry, London. Professor Collier is a
widely respected molecular geneticist who has, together
with his research group, made significant contributions
to the understanding of the genetic basis of psychiatric
and neurological conditions. His research publications,
exceeding more than 100 peer-reviewed research papers,
are extensively cited by both professional scientific-
as well as popular scientific communities. Professor
Collier maintains research collaborations with a variety
of pharmaceutical companies, such as GlaxoSmithKline, as
well as several biotechnology firms.
