Curidium has identified existing drug candidates for development in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder that have specific applicability to identified patient subgroups. Most of these drug candidates have previously been developed for indications outside of schizophrenia/ bipolar disorder and have either failed due to lack of efficacy or have been shelved for other reasons unrelated to safety or toxicity.

By applying PychINDx™ to pre-select the patient groups more likely to respond to the drug candidates, Curidium has the potential re-develop these candidate drugs for specific patient subgroups with schizophrenia/bipolar disorder.
