Curidium was founded in 2001 by Dr. Anne Bruinvels who also developed the Company's proprietary research platform, Homomatrix^®. In March 2009, Curidium was acquired by the diagnostics company, Avacta Group plc.

• Curidium has developed a proprietary technology platform, Homomatrix^® a sophisticated, automated data analysis system, to identify patient subgroups distinguished by their gene expression profiles, using datasets of heterogeneous patient populations

• Curidium has identified a blood diagnostic test, called PsychINDx™, to classify patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder into four different subgroups with distinct potential disease mechanisms
